Finance Supervisor

Habitat for Humanity Trinidad and Tobago (HFHTT)

Habitat for Humanity Trinidad and Tobago is seeking an experienced, proactive and detail-oriented Finance Supervisor to lead the Finance Department while overseeing the Human Resources function. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for supporting a mission-driven organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing the Finance Department.

Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, budgets and cash flow reports.

Ensure the accuracy of balance sheets, general ledgers, sub-ledgers, bank reconciliations and donor reporting.

Oversee payroll, financial controls, budgeting and audit processes.

Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and the Finance Committee.

Ensure compliance with Habitat for Humanity policies and relevant financial regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.

Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a finance leadership or supervisory role.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, balance sheets, cash flows, general ledgers and sub-ledgers.

Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting software.
