Florist (Part-time)

Requirements:

Formal training in Floristry, and/or an equivalent amount of experience as a Florist.

Computer Literacy

Excellent oral and written communication skills

A minimum of five (5) O Level/CSEC subjects, inclusive of Mathematics and English Language.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Fill all orders as documented by the Logistics Supervisor and/or the Sales Team.

Make traditional corsages, bouquets, wreaths, and arrangements as well as other kinds of original designs.

Create original designs.

Work with a wide range of foliage and flowers.

Participating in the ordering and purchase process for flowers and supplies from suppliers.

Assists with the proper care of flowers. (Keep flowers watered and fresh. Cut stems to proper length.)

Care and maintenance of all flowers in the Walk-in Deli Display Display.

Wait on customers in floral shop, as and when required.

Guide customers about the care, maintenance, and handling of flowers and foliage, as and when required.

Provide advice and suggestions to customers for flower selection, as and when required.

Prepare displays in the Shop.

Assists with the unpacking of flowers and preparation for storage.

Cleaning and proper maintenance of the Potting Room.

Deliver flowers to clients if necessary.
